Brooklyn Fire Proof is a complex of interconnected creative businesses in the industrial Bushwick/East Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.

Thomas Burwell Dodd incorporated Brooklyn Fire Proof (BFP) in 1999. BFP originated as studios and a makeshift gallery space built into a vacant factory building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. When Brooklyn Fire Proof moved to its current location in East Williamsburg/Bushwick, the company expanded to include more studios, soundstages for film and television production, gallery space and Brooklyn Fire Proof East, a café and bar (now Terra Firma). BFP is now a sprawling 170,000 square feet of Creative Spaces that facilitates a community of diverse makers.

Brooklyn Fire Proof, Inc. manages commercial real estate rentals. The workspaces are spread across three buildings within easy walking distance of the Morgan L stop in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The spaces are excellent for artists to use as studios, for micro-manufacturers, or as office space.

Brooklyn Fire Proof Stages is a full-service film, television, and photography soundstage and movie studio in New York City. Amenities include on-site equipment rental, parking, green screen cycloramas and exterior locations. Brooklyn Fire Proof Stages is a Qualified Production Facility (QPF), participating in the New York State Film Tax Credit Program.
