Robert Bauer

Born in Lima, Peru, Rob Bauer started his teaching career after spending 20-plus years in the high tech industry. Bauer began his career at Stratus Computers as a Hardware Engineer. He worked in numerous startups where he designed and built communications devices for the early years of WEB 2.0. He now teaches physics and engineering. Bauer lives in Natick, Mass., with his wife Carmelina. His oldest daughter Alexandria and son Raffaele are currently attending college. His youngest daughter Daniela '26 attends Brooks School. Bauer loves going out on runs with his dog Chacho, a rescue from the streets of San Juan. An avid New England sports fan, he enjoys golf, running, cycling, snowboarding, trying new foods and traveling.
