Ashlee Peña

Ashlee Peña is the Director, Senior Counsel at Thrivent, where they leverage their extensive legal expertise. They began their legal career as a Legal Intern at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund and have held various positions including Attorney, Chief of Staff and General Counsel for a Texas Representative, and Attorney/Owner at Peña & Peña, PLLC. Peña earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University School of Law and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. They have also contributed to policy as a fellow at the U.S. Department of Education and served as a Board Member at Brooks since 2023.
