James (Wes) Hayden is an experienced telecommunications and transport engineer, currently serving as a Transport Engineer for Duke Energy at Brooksource since December 2022. James has extensive knowledge in various transport systems including DMX family, Cisco, and DWDM among others. Previous roles include Telecommunications Engineer at WesTelTech Inc., System Field Engineer at AMK Services, and RF Optimization Engineer at T-Mobile, where optimization efforts focused on the Indiana/Indianapolis core market. James has also been involved in projects with GTATelecom, Verizon Wireless, and Nexgen Wireless, contributing to RF testing and optimization across multiple networks. In addition to technical expertise, James has participated in Hurricane Irma disaster relief efforts and possesses a degree in Computer Science from Triton College, complemented by certifications in electronics and RF.
