At Brookview House, our mission is to empower parents to break the generational cycle of homelessness and poverty with our holistic, family-centered model rooted in community and solidarity. Our approach addresses the distinct needs of each individual family member while also considering the needs of the communities in which we operate. We offer an emergency shelter with family apartments, stabilization services to help secure permanent housing, on-site licensed childcare, domestic violence supports, a teen drop-in center, and services and programs designed to confront the root causes of family homelessness.

Brookview’s innovative model leads with a racial equity lens, cultivates leadership, crafts cross-sector partnerships, policy advocacy and civic engagement campaigns. Rooted in the neighborhoods of Mattapan, Roxbury and Dorchester, our commitment to improving the lives of families extends beyond our own walls – helping those at risk of homelessness stay at work and housed. As a result, we’re stabilizing communities as we’re helping families thrive.
