Alexa Model is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various financial firms. Currently serving as a Partner and Strategic Advisor at Brown Advisory since November 2020, Alexa previously held the position of CEO at both Ashwood Capital Management, LLC from January 2016 to November 2020 and River Partners Capital Management, LP from October 2014 to January 2016. Prior to these roles, Alexa was the Director of Family Office at Levin Capital Strategies, LP from 1994 to December 2014. Alexa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University (1988-1990) and also obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Occidental College (1986-1988).
