David Stepherson

David Stepherson, CFA, is an experienced portfolio manager currently serving at Brown Advisory since April 2015. Prior to this role, David worked as Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager at Hardesty Capital Management from February 1999 to March 2015, where David became a partner during David's tenure. David began the career at Mercantile Safe Deposit & Trust Company in January 1990, advancing from the operations department to a Portfolio Manager over nearly a decade. David holds a degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where studies were completed between 1985 and 1989.
