Michael Ayer

Michael Ayer is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Equity Research Analyst and leading the Institutional Portfolio Team at Brown Advisory since February 2018. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Wilmington Trust, focusing on investment proposals from January 2016 to February 2018, and worked in international trade operations at M&T Bank from March 2014 to January 2016. Michael's career began as a Financial Analyst at Palmetto GBA from December 2011 to February 2014. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a double major in Finance and Business Management from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
