Tom Simunovic

Tom Simunovic is a partner and investment specialist focused on large cap sustainable growth at Brown Advisory since May 2022. Previously, Tom served as an ESG investment strategy specialist and relationship manager at Trillium Asset Management from March 2016 to May 2022, as well as a regional sales consultant. Tom's earlier experience includes a role as a financial research associate at Boma Investments LLC, where collaboration on the Scalable Energy Access Loan pilot for renewable energy financing in emerging markets took place. Prior positions also featured being a senior research associate at Accion International, overseeing financial inclusion projects, and a compliance manager at the EF Foundation for Foreign Study, ensuring program compliance with governmental regulations. Tom's career began as a trip leader for Putney Student Travel, managing international community service programs. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Global Studies from St. Lawrence University, certificates in Impact Investing and Financial Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and Cornell University, respectively.
