Christine Okulo

Christine Okulo is a dedicated student at Brown University, pursuing dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Studies, expected to graduate in 2027. Presently functioning as a Barista at The Underground Coffee Co. and a manager at Brown Design Workshop, Christine has held various roles including Campus Tour Guide at Brown University and Podcast Editor for The Brown Daily Herald. Experience includes significant internships such as an Air Resources Intern at the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, conducting environmental screenings for the KIEP 250+ project, and serving as an Environmental Screening & Financial Consulting Intern at NIRAS. Additionally, commitments as an Education Mentor with The Swearer Center and a Teaching Assistant for ENVS 0110 reflect a strong emphasis on environmental education and community engagement. Christine is also involved in mentoring international students through the Global Brown Center.
