Brown Mamas exist to amplify the lived experiences and voices and expand the social capital of Black mothers. It has grown into a robust network of over 6,700 Black moms in the Pittsburgh region, who benefit from support groups, mentoring, and more. BrownMamas.com also boasts over 400 articles on mothering in color; the website and social media presence reach tens of thousands of moms monthly.
