Simon Harding

Simon Harding possesses a diverse professional background in both sports and finance. Starting with military service as a Commissioned Officer in the Army Corps of Royal Engineers from September 1997 to June 2002, Simon transitioned into the finance sector, holding various roles including Manager of Service Provider Selection & Monitoring at Man Investments and Assistant Director for UK Operations at Rothschild Wealth Management. From September 2008 to November 2012, Simon served as a referee on the National Referee Panel and for the Professional Game Match Officials Team with England Rugby. Continuing to build a career in finance, Simon currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Brown Shipley since November 2025, following significant roles at Rothschild & Co where responsibilities included COO Investments and Deputy Chief Operating Officer. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Engineering from Durham University and formative education at Sevenoaks School.
