Marc Algar has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Marc is currently the Head of Enterprise Sales EMEA at BrowserStack since September 2022. Before that, they worked as the Director of Sales EMEA at TripActions from September 2021 to May 2022.
Prior to their time at TripActions, Marc held multiple positions at Datadog from December 2017 to September 2021. Marc started as the 1st Sales Manager in EMEA, where they built and led a team of Account Executives and contributed to significant revenue growth and customer acquisition. Marc later served as the Director of Commercial Sales for North EMEA. During their tenure, the operation grew to over 100 people, and Marc achieved 300%+ revenue growth and onboarded 900+ new customers.
Before joining Datadog, Marc worked as a Senior Account Executive at Qualtrics from September 2015 to September 2017. Prior to that, they served as an Account Executive for EPM & ERP at Oracle from March 2014 to September 2015.
Earlier in their career, Marc gained experience at Dell, where they held various roles such as Senior Channel Account Manager, Sales Manager, and Channel Account Manager from December 2009 to March 2014. Marc also worked as a Field Sales Executive at Lifetimes NewsGroup and as the Owner of Atticsolutions.com.
Marc Algar began their professional journey as a Sales Executive at Siteserv from November 2003 to May 2007. Through their career, they have showcased their skills in sales, leadership, team building, and achieving significant revenue growth.
Marc Algar attended Technological University Dublin from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Higher Certificate in Front Line Management. Marc then returned to Technological University Dublin in 2008 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Technology Management in 2011. In 2014, Marc pursued further education at Technological University Dublin and earned a Higher Certificate in Sales Practices in 2015.
In addition to their formal education, Marc Algar has obtained several certifications. In 2012, they completed the Consultative Selling Techniques program at Dell, followed by the Learn to Lead Program at Dell in 2013. In 2014, Marc received certifications in Sandler Sales Training and Costigan Sales Training from New Velocity. Marc further enhanced their skills in 2015 with an Advanced Prospecting certification from Sandler Training. Lastly, in 2017, they completed the Command of the Message certification from Force Management, and most recently, in 2021, Marc obtained the Effective Personal Productivity certification from Leadership Management International, Inc.
