Sourav Kundu

Sourav Kundu has a diverse work experience in various industries. Sourav started their career as a Trainee Scientific Officer at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in 2013, where they underwent a 1-year training program on Nuclear Engineering topics.

Following that, Sourav worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited from 2014 to 2018. In this role, they were the project owner of a safety-critical nuclear reactor control system software. Sourav also designed and developed an in-house hard real-time operating system and a common software platform for embedded system development.

In 2019, Sourav joined CK Birla Group as a Technology Strategy Intern at the CTO's office of CK Birla Hospitals. During their time there, they developed an objective framework for evaluating the effectiveness of the Hospital Information & Management System (HIMS) and identified problem areas that needed attention.

Currently, Sourav is working at BrowserStack since 2020. Sourav started as an Associate Product Manager and was responsible for launching and improving the Playwright and Puppeteer testing support on the platform. Sourav also played a crucial role in enhancing the user documentation platform, improving user onboarding, and gathering valuable NPS data.

In 2021, Sourav was promoted to Product Manager I, where they owned the new feature development and user experience of Cypress testing on the BrowserStack Automate Product. Sourav successfully ran a closed-beta program for Playwright testing and launched the framework in a public beta. In 2022, they became a Product Manager II, further expanding their responsibilities in the product management role.

Sourav Kundu completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Science from Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, from 2013 to 2016. Before their postgraduate studies, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Heritage Institute of Technology, from 2009 to 2013. Sourav Kundu completed their high school education in Science from Stepping Stone Model School, from 1994 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Sourav Kundu also obtained a couple of certifications. Sourav received the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP in February 2019. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Network Management from Nettech Private Limited in January 2011.
