Fred Tavan

Fred Tavan is an experienced Project Leader in Industrial Design at BRP, with expertise in off-road vehicle design since October 2015. Previously, Tavan worked at Creaform as a CAD Specialist and Designer focusing on parts and accessories development from July 2013 to October 2015, and coordinated design activities for mechanical parts on hybrid vehicles at Nova Bus from June 2005 to May 2013. Tavan also contributed to various projects including interior design for Bombardier Aerospace and tooling design for General Electric. As a CAD Specialist Consultant at BRP from June 2006 to September 2011, Tavan was involved in vehicle development at the R&D center. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Université de Montréal and a diploma in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology from Ecole Nationale d'aérotechniques.
