Val Maizelev

Val Maizelev is a seasoned professional in data and information architecture with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Senior Information Architect at Manulife and a Senior Data Architect at BRP since November 2023, Maizelev previously held similar senior data architecture roles at Innovapost, the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, and Canadian Tire. Early career experience includes positions at Ontario Power Authority, OLG, and multiple roles at Canadian Tire. Additional expertise includes business intelligence and data warehousing consulting, evidenced by roles at MOE and Lafarge North America. Maizelev holds a Master of Science in Engineering, Chemical Engineering from the Technological University of Manufacturing Industry of Kiev and has further education from York University.
