Mel Smith

Mel Smith started their work experience as a CA trainee at Investec in January 2014 and ended in December 2016. After that, they worked at Vumatel as the Head of Financial Management from November 2017 to June 2019. They then moved to Community Investment Ventures Holdings (Pty) Ltd and held the position of Head of Treasury from June 2019 to October 2022. Currently, Mel is working as the Head of Corporate Finance at Brsk since October 2022.

Mel Smith completed their Bachelor's Degree in Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) at the University of Cape Town in 2013. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2012, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Business Science Finance and Accountant also at the University of Cape Town. Mel'shigh school education was completed from 2004 to 2008 at The Diocesan School For Girls. The field of study for their high school degree is not specified.
