Bruker Acquifer – Automated Widefield Microscopy and Big Image Data Handling

Bruker has acquired Acquifer Imaging GmbH and integrated it into its Luxendo Light-Sheet Microscopy portfolio as part of the Bruker Fluorescence Microscopy business unit. 
Acquifer is now available as a product family.

Bruker Acquifer integrates expertise for developing modern imaging technologies and associated workflows, including instruments and tools required to analyse biological specimens in imaging applications from cellular models to whole organisms like zebrafish. 

🔹 Acquifer IM: Automated Widefield Microscopy
Bruker’s Acquifer Imaging Machine (IM) is a fully automated widefield microscope with brightfield and fluorescence imaging for a variety of samples. Incorporating comprehensive data storage and processing capabilities, it is an ideal platform for high-content screening assays and phenotypic screening for small-model organisms.

🔹 Acquifer HIVE: Centralized Data Storage and Computing
Acquifer HIVE is a big data management system for handling large amounts of scientific data, such as microscope image series, screening results, or omics data. This centralized data storage and computing solution provides high-speed data transfer, safe storage capacity, and parallel data processing for multiple users with intuitive processing and analysis workflows.
