Peter Gin

Peter Gin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor and materials science fields. Currently serving as the North America Sales Applications Manager at Bruker since October 2015, Peter oversees the JVX US Applications as part of the Bruker Semi Division. Prior to this role, Peter spent a decade at Jordan Valley Semiconductors, first as an Applications Engineer and later as a Senior Applications Engineer, focusing on semiconductor thin film metrology. Peter began his career at Stony Brook University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where significant contributions included the establishment of the Koga research laboratory and pioneering studies on polymer thin films and supercritical carbon dioxide interactions. Additionally, a brief opportunity as a Visiting Researcher at Kyushu University involved polymer synthesis and characterization. Peter holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science, both from Stony Brook University.
