They manage their strategy as a pod within BMS, or by co-owning an investment management company with Brummer & Partners. BMS targets institutional and private investors looking for risk diversification and low correlation to financial markets over time. The portfolio is highly liquid with diversifying strategies investing across 500+ markets. Risk management is at our core and shapes how we dynamically allocate to our in-house investment strategies.

To ensure a well-diversified portfolio, BMS relies on a proprietary risk management system enabling multi-dimensional portfolio analysis. The dimensions cover real-time monitoring of risks, exposures and performance, combined with comprehensive analysis of the overall market environment. BMS’s disciplined approach to risk also involves constructive dialogue with the investment teams to better understand the qualitative rationales behind the risks in the portfolio.
