James Dray

Partner, London at Brunswick Group

James works with global organizations on integrated campaigns across public affairs, public relations and crisis with a focus on philanthropic foundations, multilateral replenishments, and global health. He is also a member of the Africa, mining, and financial institutions groups.

James helps lead our work with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where he completed a 12-month secondment leading communications in Europe and the Middle East. His other clients include or have included the Wellcome Trust, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), and the Global Financing Facility (GFF). He has increasingly focused on finding new ways to make the case for development to sceptical audiences and is a Trustee of the Coalition for Global Prosperity.

James joined Brunswick after earning a Doctorate as a Commonwealth Scholar at the University of Oxford, where he also taught politics. He is a former President of the Oxford Union and World Universities Debating Champion.
