Baard Flatland

Baard Flatland began their work experience in 1987 at Fokus Bank, where they worked as a Bank Clerk, handling customer service and performing internal activities until 1990. In 1995, they joined Brynild Gruppen AS as a Purchasing Analyst, where they developed systems and routines for the purchasing area and contributed to the development and rollout of new functionalities in the SAP system. From 2003 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Purchaser, focusing on implementing new companies in the organization's routines and systems due to acquisitions and harmonizing supplier bases and materials. Afterwards, they became a Purchasing Manager, responsible for all purchasing activities and supplier development, including the development of packing materials and technology. Currently, Baard Flatland holds the position of Director of Purchasing at Brynild Gruppen AS, starting in January 2020. Additionally, they had a role as a Lead Buyer at Brynild Gruppen and Fazer Confectionary from 1997 to 2001, where they led the purchasing alliance for selected material groups and worked on harmonizing products, routines, and sourcing strategies.

Baard Flatland obtained a Høgskolekandidat degree in Økonomi from the University of South-Eastern Norway, where they studied from 1991 to 1993. Baard then pursued further education at Växjö University, where they earned a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from 1993 to 1995.
