Andreas Oberegger has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Andreas is currently the Head of Accounting at BRYTER, a SaaS platform that enables legal, compliance, and procurement experts to automate workflows. In this role, they established and led a dedicated finance team, oversaw the transition from outsourced to in-house operations, conducted a thorough evaluation of ERP systems, and implemented a transfer pricing mechanism and treasury policy.
Prior to their current role, Andreas served as the Head of Finance at Flexion Mobile Plc, where they guided the company's growth, supported the CFO with board reports and investor presentations, implemented an R&D tax credits claiming process, managed a finance team, and maintained reporting dashboards.
Earlier in their career, Andreas worked as a Financial Controller at Goodwille Limited, where they prepared financial statements, developed management accounts, implemented balance sheet reconciliation processes, monitored cash flow, and provided expertise on software implementation.
Andreas also gained experience as a Commercial Administrator at Mundocom UK and as an Administrator at Fizzback Ltd. Andreas started their career with internships at Mengerler Otomotiv Ticaret VE SAN. A.S. and Handelshaus Klein GmbH.
Andreas Oberegger began their education at Handelsakademie Tamsweg in Austria, where they obtained their Matura degree in Controlling from 2002 to 2007. Andreas then pursued further studies at Birkbeck, University of London, from 2010 to 2014, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Management.
In addition to their formal education, Andreas has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2019, they completed a course in Team Management - Maximize Your Team and another course in Solve Complex Problems with Design Thinking, both offered by Jolt.io. Andreas also completed the Situational Leadership® II program provided by The Ken Blanchard Companies in 2019.
Furthermore, Andreas has gained knowledge in finance through various online courses. In 2014, they completed an Introduction to Finance course offered by the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. In 2013, they completed an Introduction to Corporate Finance course provided by The Wharton School. Additionally, in the same year, they completed a course in Interactive Programming in Python from Rice University.
