Michael Grupp is a German entrepreneur and business executive. Michael is the founder and CEO of BRYTER, a leading no-code service automation platform. Michael is also a member of the executive faculty at the Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession and a lecturer on legal technology and innovation at Goethe University. Prior to their current positions, Grupp founded and was the CEO of Lexalgo Legal Tech, a German legal technology company that was acquired by BRYTER in 2018. Michael also founded Thesius | DDL Deutsche Dissertationsliste GmbH, a company that provides online access to dissertations from German universities. Grupp holds a law degree from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, one of the world's largest law firms.

Michael Grupp has a PhD from the University of Münster in Data Protection; Data Security; Cloud Software Architecture, which they obtained in 2018. Michael also has a Maîtrise en Droit from Université Paris - Val-de-Marne (Paris XII) in Private International Law, Business Law, which they obtained in 2009. Finally, they have a 1. Staatsexamen from Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz / University of Mainz in Jura, which they obtained in 2009.
