Shep Hickey

Shep Hickey has been in the steel business since 2011. Shep began their career at American Piping Products as an Expediter, Purchasing - Sourcing, and Clerk. Shep then moved up to Project Manager and was responsible for all operations related activities. During their three years in the role, they shipped thousands of trucks of steel, giving him a 360-degree education on the steel business. In 2017, they left American Piping Products to become the Founder/CEO of Bryzos, an online metals marketplace that facilitates trade between third-party buyers and third-party sellers.

Shep Hickey holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School, with a field of study in Business Administration and Management. Shep also completed Physics and Chemistry Coursework at the University of California, Berkeley. Their undergraduate degree is from The University of the South, with a field of study in Biology.
