David Leeb

David Leeb is a Board Member at BSA and was previously with BSA | The Software Alliance, Box, and Silver Spring Networks. David has over 19 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on securities, corporate governance, M&A, stock administration, and employment law.

At Silver Spring Networks, they led the company’s IPO and transition to a public company, as well as a $105 million Series E financing round and multiple M&A transactions. David also served as Acting General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from August 2012 until February 2013. David's strong performance led to a promotion to Vice President in June 2010.

At Electronic Arts Inc., they served as Senior Managing Counsel (Senior Director) and Assistant Corporate Secretary. David was responsible for supporting EA’s Board of Directors and Board Committees, as well as the Finance, Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Treasury, Tax, Human Resources, and Stock Administration groups.

David began their legal career as an Associate with DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary LLP, where they worked on corporate/securities/M&A matters.

David Leeb began their educational career by earning a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating cum laude in political science and international relations. David then went on to obtain their JD from American University, Washington College of Law, again graduating cum laude. After law school, David Leeb attended Stanford Law School's Directors' College and Université de Bordeaux. David is certified by the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in CIPP/E: Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe and by the State Bar of California as a California State Bar Member. David is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.
