Tomoko Naoe works with BSA members to advance positions on key policy issues including privacy, cybersecurity, digital trade, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing in Japan. She has organized and developed a series of BSA-hosted international conferences involving policymakers, industry associations, and academics in Japan and abroad to advocate the views of BSA members, encouraging policies that drive technological innovation and digital implementation in society.
Prior to joining BSA, she worked at Warner Music, leading strategic planning to market and license music of international artists in Japan, the US, and Asia.
She holds a BA from Aoyama Gakuin University.
