John Christian Elden is an experienced attorney at law with a distinguished career spanning several decades. Since June 1997, Elden has served at Norges Høyesterett, the Supreme Court of Norway, while also owning and acting as a senior partner at Advokatfirmaet Elden DA since January 1994. Additional roles include deputy member of Stortinget, the Norwegian Parliament, from October 2013 to September 2021, and member of the Main Board for Oslo Høyre from 2010 to February 2018. Elden held the position of Head of the Public Guardian's Office from October 2011 to July 2013 and served on the Main Board of the Norwegian Bar Association from 2006 to 2010. Earlier experience includes working as an associate lawyer and research assistant, along with leadership in student governance and financial roles. Elden holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Oslo and has completed leadership programs with the US State Department and Forsvarets høgskole.
