Alison Sharp has a wealth of experience in the field of human resources, with a career spanning over two decades. Alison has held various leadership positions in major companies across multiple industries.

Alison began their career at Griffith University in Australia, where they served as the Deputy Director of Human Resources. Alison then moved on to Energy Developments Limited, where they worked as the Head of HR.

In 2003, Alison joined BAE Systems as the HR Director for Advanced Manufacturing & Operations, responsible for providing strategic and operational HR services for UK employees. After this, they joined Brambles Industries plc as the HR Director for Cleanaway, a position they held until 2007 when they became the Group Head of HR at International Power.

Alison then joined Rolls-Royce plc, where they held various roles including Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Rolls-Royce Marine, HR Director for Global Employment Framework, and HR Director for Reward. During their time at Rolls-Royce, they were part of the HR Executive team responsible for the development and delivery of the company's people strategy.

Following their tenure at Rolls-Royce, Alison joined Orica as the Vice President of Human Resources for Europe, Africa, and Asia, ensuring the company had the right people, capabilities, and organizational structures for growth. Alison also held the position of Vice President of Human Resources for Global Group Functions, providing strategic HR support on a global basis.

In 2018, Alison became the Chief People Officer for Experian in the UK, Ireland, and EMEA region. Alison was responsible for scalable organization and working methods to capture market opportunities, as well as the development and delivery of enterprise-wide people strategies.

Currently, Alison holds the position of Chief People Officer at BSI, where they provide global functional support to all business units and functions. Alison ensures the function acts as the subject matter expert for all people-related issues across the organization's worldwide locations.

Alison Sharp obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of the West of England. Prior to that, they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from the same university. Additionally, they became a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), specializing in Human Resources Management and Services.
