Chris Gee

Chris Gee is an accomplished professional in the aviation and drone sector, currently serving as Sector Head for Aviation (Standards) at BSI since January 2023, where efforts focus on advancing aviation innovation and sustainability through collaboration with government, the CAA, industry, and academia. In addition, Chris is a founding trustee of Safer Drones, which emphasizes education for the safe use of drones and unmanned aerial vehicles. Previous roles include Future Aviation Technologist at Connected Places Catapult and Management Consultant at Agilio, where Chris leveraged extensive experience to integrate innovative UAS technology and address UAS Traffic Management challenges. A former Trustee for The MedicAlert Foundation, Chris has also held various leadership positions in consulting and technology management, and has founded a care planning platform, demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Chris holds a degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
