David Mudd

David Mudd is an accomplished leader in digital trust assurance and product certification, currently serving as the Global Head of Digital Trust Assurance at BSI since June 2017. In this role, David Mudd is responsible for the development of the Assurance Digital Trust strategy and oversees a diverse portfolio of services. Previously, David Mudd held multiple positions at BSI, including Global Digital Product Certification Director and Business Development Director for IoT, focusing on the growth of digital and connected products. David Mudd has a strong background in sales and operations within the technology and lighting sectors, having worked as Sales & Marketing Director at LUX-TSI Ltd and Sales & Operations Director at PhotonStar Technology Ltd. With a career spanning over two decades, David Mudd's experience includes roles at Palomar Technologies and Nortel Networks, as well as serving as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force. David Mudd holds a degree in Electronics from the University of Lincoln and Kingston College.
