Gary Baker

Gary Baker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and business development, currently serving as Solutions Development Manager at BSI since May 2019. Baker has also held the position of Head of Operations and Service Development on secondment and Operations Project Manager focused on New Business and Bids. Prior to BSI, Baker spent 18 years at SGS, progressing through roles such as Business Enhancement Manager, Commercial Manager, and Manager of Commercial Training Services. In these positions, Baker was instrumental in leading teams that provided tailored solutions, oversaw marketing and sales initiatives, and managed training services both in the UK and internationally. Baker holds a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of West London and a Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Polytechnic of Central London.
