Luis Martinez, BSME, MBA, PMP, has extensive experience in the medical device industry, particularly in vascular devices and engineering roles. Luis began a career at Boston Scientific as an Equipment Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer from November 2003 to December 2005. Luis moved to HeartWare Inc, serving as Manufacturing/Process Development Engineer and later as Principal/Sr. Process Development Engineer in New Product Development from April 2010 to March 2012. Luis continued to advance in the field at Medtronic as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer focused on Mechanical Circulatory Support from September 2015 to November 2018. At BSI, Luis held the position of Technical Specialist and Scheme Manager for Vascular Devices from November 2018 to September 2022, before being promoted to Sr. Technical Specialist and Scheme Manager in October 2022.
