Peter MacKay is an accomplished professional in the field of optics and photonics, currently serving as Principal Technologist at G&H Photonics since October 2002. In addition, Peter holds the position of Chair for CPW/172 Optics and Photonics at BSI since July 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Product Development Engineer at Nortel Networks from July 1999 to January 2001. Peter MacKay earned a PhD in Computational Quantum Optics from the University of Strathclyde between 1991 and 1995, following a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Laser Physics and Optoelectronics from the same institution from 1987 to 1991.
