Rula Johnson

Rula Johnson, MSc, has over thirty years of management experience in the medical device industry, specializing in Quality Systems, Quality Assessments, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Manufacturing Support, Project Management, and Design Transfer. Currently serving as the Technical Team Manager for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) at BSI since 2016, Rula has previously held roles as an IVD Technical Specialist and Scheme Manager, as well as Client Manager and Lead Assessor. Prior to BSI, Rula worked in various capacities related to Quality Systems and Compliance at Medical Devices from 1990 to 2016. Rula holds a Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from California State University, Long Beach. Strong communication, negotiation, and change management skills complement Rula's extensive expertise in the field.
