Ryan Mao

Ryan Mao serves as the Head of Product Certification Services for the Asia Pacific region at the British Standards Institution since April 2019, overseeing business operations and P&L while managing Product Certification Directors and Managers across multiple countries. Previously, Ryan held roles at SGS, including Department Manager for Infrastructure & Building, where responsibilities encompassed lab testing, certification services, and business strategy management. Earlier, Ryan worked at CSA Group as a Project Manager overseeing technical and product testing operations. Ryan holds an MBA from Tongji University and degrees in Strategy Management and Building Environment Engineering, along with qualifications in Law from East China University of Science and Technology.
