Ryan Shaw has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ryan started their career in 1999 as a Technical Assistant at ACP Publishing, where they conducted benchmark testing, wrote reviews, and contributed to the development of the magazine's website. Ryan then worked as a Technical Journalist at IDG Communications, where they served as the Section Editor for game reviews and was responsible for editing copy and redesigning the games section. Ryan joined CBN Media as a Content Manager, attending events and reporting on the latest video game news. At CHOICE, they worked as a Test Coordinator, collaborating with Standards Australia. Ryan then joined Which? as a Senior Researcher, where they created test methodologies and owned the top 5 most visited product areas on the website. Currently, they are working at BSI as the Content Development Team Lead, managing the delivery of standardization projects and leading a team of Editorial Project Managers. Ryan Shaw received their education in Information Technology from TAFE NSW. Ryan obtained a Lvl 3 Certificate in Information Technology in 1996 and later completed a Lvl 4 Certificate in Information Technology - Network Support in 1997-1998.
