Sam Boyer

Sam Boyer is a Technical Team Manager at BSI, where they oversee regulatory aspects of medical devices, including CE marking and risk management. Previously, Sam served as a Research Assistant at the University of Leeds, conducting studies on intestinal sugar transport in relation to insulin-dependent diabetes. Sam’s experience at Smith & Nephew spanned several roles, including Project Leader and Research Scientist in Endoscopy. They hold a PhD in Articular Cartilage Biology and Tissue Engineering from Cardiff University and an MSc in Molecular Pathology and Toxicology from the University of Leicester.
