Stephen Yu

Stephen Yu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and compliance within the engineering and auditing sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Compliance & Risk Director at BSI since January 2000, Stephen oversees audit planning, delivery, and customer service, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Previous roles at BSI include Operation Manager and Client Manager, where responsibilities included managing auditors and conducting management system audits and training for clients on various ISO standards. Prior to BSI, Stephen worked as a Quality and Construction Engineer at the Airport Authority Hong Kong, ensuring adherence to safety and quality management systems, and as an Engineer at The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, managing projects related to gas network systems. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, completed in 1987.
