Stuart Byford

Stuart Byford is an accomplished BIM professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as the BIM Global Technical Lead and Associate BIM ISO 19650 Information Management Tutor at BSI since May 2022, Stuart has also held significant roles including Executive & Implementation Co-Lead at WeAreNima.im and BIM BS EN ISO 19650 Auditor at BRE. Notably, Stuart led the BIM Division at BRE, offering advisory, training, and certification services aligned with ISO 19650 for a variety of stakeholders internationally. Previous positions include Associate BIM Lead at BPTW and BIM Manager at RES, among others. Stuart holds a Higher National Diploma in Industrial Design and has completed multiple design diplomas from West Herts College, showcasing a strong educational foundation in design.
