BSides Birmingham is a community-driven cybersecurity event bringing the UK cyber ecosystem together in the heart of the Midlands.

After launching in 2025, we’re proud to be returning for our second year in 2026, continuing to create a space where seasoned professionals, newcomers, students, and anyone with an interest in cyber can learn, share, and connect.

In 2025, we:
* sold 317 tickets
* welcomed 248 attendees (78.2% attendance rate)
* achieved an average satisfaction score of 4.67/5
* brought together people from 112+ locations
* reinvested event surplus back into regional cybersecurity initiatives/charities

Our content is built around valuable technical research, inclusion, diversity, wellbeing, and career progression, with curated talks, hands-on workshops, and community led networking.
