Stephen Wilcox

Stephen Wilcox has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Stephen is currently the Chief Product Officer at BSO, a global provider of connectivity and technology services. Prior to this, they founded and served as President of IX Reach, a company specializing in enterprise software and interconnection platforms. Stephen also held the position of Chief, Global Networks at Console Connect Inc., where they focused on changing the way enterprises connect globally. Wilcox has significant experience in the telecommunications industry, having served as President EMEA & Chief of Global Networks at IIX and as Founder & CEO of IX Reach. Stephen was also a Director at LINX, one of the world's largest Internet Exchange points. Additionally, Wilcox worked at Google, where they held roles such as Program Manager, Global Network Acquisition and Global Infrastructure. Stephen has also contributed to the industry as a Funding Council member at the Internet Watch Foundation and as a Peering Manager at Renesys Corporation. Wilcox started their career by founding Telecomplete Ltd, a successful UK wholesale provider of access and hosting services.

Stephen Wilcox earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Astrophysics (Natural Sciences with Physics) from The Open University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended the University of Birmingham from 1995 to 1996, focusing on Chemistry.
