Joey Boothe has been in the music industry since 2007. Joey began their career at Guitar Center as a GCPro Logistics Coordinator in 2007. In 2009, they were promoted to Assistant Manager, where they managed daily operations of a retail store with over $2 million of inventory and trained 15-20 employees in sales and product knowledge. In 2010, Joey moved to Kennelly Keys Music, Inc. as a Buyer, where they managed day to day purchasing, product pricing, and database for a six store musical instrument retail chain. Joey also executed buying strategies based on sales data analysis and product trends, as well as negotiated terms and pricing with manufacturers and distributors. Currently, Joey is a Sales Representative at BSW - Broadcast Supply Worldwide.
Joey Boothe's education history includes attending Boise State University from 1991 to 1993, where they studied Music Production. Joey then earned an Associate's degree in Audio Production from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in 1994-1995. More recently, they have taken courses through Coursera in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Principles, and is currently enrolled in a program at General Assembly Seattle for User Experience Research and Design.
