Afshin Ehsan

Afshin Ehsan, MD, MBA, FACS, is a highly experienced cardiac surgeon and academic leader with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Professor of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Institute at Baylor Scott & White Health, Ehsan previously held significant roles at Rhode Island Hospital, including Director of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery and Director of the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Ehsan's educational background includes an MD from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, a BS in Biology from UCLA, and an Executive MBA from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
