Alisha Jain, DO, MS is a Resident Physician in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Baylor Scott & White Health since June 2022. Prior to this role, Alisha served as a Health Leads Advocate, assisting patients in accessing community resources from September 2016 to May 2018. Research experience includes investigating hypoxia inducible factors on glioblastoma at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2017, and co-authoring a published paper on glioblastoma during a tenure in the Chen Lab at City of Hope from June 2012 to August 2015. Earlier research at Caltech involved cloning neural crest and placode marker genes, while work at UCLA focused on cancer mechanisms using flow cytometry and microfluidics. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master of Science in Medical Physiology from Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from UC San Diego.
