Billy Ray Laxton is currently the Manager of Orthopedics-Sports Medicine at Baylor Scott and White Health, a position they began in 2023. Previously, they served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Sul Ross State University from 2018 to 2021 and held the same role at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor from 2002 to 2011. A proud graduate of Texas Tech University, they also earned a Master's degree from the University of Texas at Tyler. With extensive experience in athletic training across clinical, public school, and university settings, Billy Ray has contributed significantly to the field and has participated in events such as the 1996 Olympics as a Chief Athletic Trainer.
