Christine Ackerson, MS, RHIA, CHC, CHRC, is the Director of Audit and Investigations for Baylor Health Care System, a position held since 2010. Previously, Christine served as the Director of Hospital, Professional and Clinical Trials Billing at Duke Health System from 2008 to 2010, where they managed billing operations and ensured alignment with organizational KPIs. From 2000 to 2009, Christine worked at WPAHS, developing a system-wide approach to charge description master management and implementing a contract management system that generated significant revenue. Christine earned a Master of Health Management in Health Administration from Duquesne University and a BS in Health Information from the University of Pittsburgh.
