Grant Teegarden has extensive work experience in the legal field. Grant began their career as an Attorney at Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. in 1999 and later joined Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP in 2005, where they continued to work as an Attorney until 2010. Teegarden then served as the General Counsel at TFR from 2010 to 2011. Grant then joined Baylor Scott & White Health in 2012, starting as an Assistant General Counsel and moving up to Vice President and eventually Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. In 2019, Teegarden became the Vice President, General Counsel of Healthcare Operations before assuming their current role.
Grant Teegarden attended Texas Tech University School of Law from 1996 to 1999, where they earned their J.D. degree in law. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University from 1991 to 1995, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science.
