Hevil Shah

Hevil Shah, MD, MPH, MA, FAAP, has a diverse work experience in the field of neonatology and pediatrics. Hevil currently works as a Neonatologist at Pediatrix Medical Group. Hevil also holds the role of Associate NICU Medical Director and Neonatologist at Baylor Scott & White Health, where they started in 2019. In addition, Dr. Shah is an Assistant Professor at TCU School of Medicine since October 2020. Hevil has also worked as a Neonatologist at Cook Children's Health Care System and Texas Health Resources since 2019. Dr. Shah completed their Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Pediatric Chief Resident at Arkansas Children's from 2015 to 2016 and as a Pediatric Resident from 2012 to 2015. It is worth noting that Dr. Shah will assume the role of Vice Chief of Pediatrics at BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE ALL SAINTS MEDICAL CENTER starting in 2023.

Hevil Shah, MD, MPH, MA, FAAP completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biology and Chemistry at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005. Hevil then went on to earn a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Dartmouth College in 2006. Following this, they pursued their medical education at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2012.

In 2018, they enrolled at The Ohio State University to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Bioethics/Medical Ethics, which they successfully completed in 2019.

Hevil Shah has also obtained various certifications, including a Medical License from the Texas Medical Board in 2019 and Medical Licenses from the State Medical Board of Ohio and Arkansas State Medical Board in 2016 and 2015 respectively. Hevil is also board-certified in General Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Additionally, they have certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
