Ira Bell

Ira Bell has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Ira served as the Medical Director for Baylor Scott & White Health starting in 2018. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at FirstCare Health Plans, including Senior Medical Director and Regional Medical Director, starting in 2015.

Ira Bell has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from Prairie View A&M University, which was attained from 1966 to 1970. Following that, from 1970 to 1974, they pursued and completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch. A few years later, from 1996 to 1998, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
